General Volunteer

At Cactus, we welcome volunteers who are easy-going, reliable, and hands-on. You'll be helping with the day-to-day life of the coliving, supporting the community, and keeping the space warm, tidy, and welcoming. In return, you’ll get to live in a vibrant coliving home, take part in activities, and meet people from all over the world.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months. This is a volunteer position for 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, having 2 days off.

💪 What you’ll help with

• Welcoming new colivers and introducing them to the community
• Keeping the house tidy and organized
• Cleaning shared areas (especially the kitchen, daily) and sometimes rooms
• Supporting our weekly family dinners and brunchs
• Taking care of recycling and trash
• Organizing activities for the community such us skillsharings, hikes and more
• Watering the garden, cacti, and plants
  

🧹 Note: We have a professional cleaning team 2–3 times per week, but volunteers help with daily upkeep, especially in shared spaces.

🙌 What we’re looking for

• Someone committed, proactive, and easy-going‍
• ‍Comfortable living in shared spaces and working as part of a small team
• Cooking skills
• Not afraid to get their hands dirty
• Fluent in English – Spanish is a plus (or you'll practice it here 😉)
• A valid EU driving license is not mandatory, but definitely a plus
• Willing to stay at least 3 months
